How Long is my coupon good for?
Depends on which coupon you purchased. The expiration date is printed on your voucher depending on which coupon you purchased. Check your confirmation voucher for exact expiration date.
What do I need to bring? Bring or wear comfortable clothes like long sleeve tees, hoodies, sweat pants, sneakers, cleats, etc. The paint washes out but you want to be comfortable and protected while playing. It is also a good idea to bring sunscreen and bug spray. You will be in the woods and outside so you want to protect yourself from the elements.
Do I need a reservation?
No, if you have a few friends and you would like to come on out any Saturday and Sunday for walk on play, come on out! If there are several of you playing you are also encouraged to call and let us know you are coming to ensure we have plenty of equipment available for your trip to Skyline. Reservations are not required for walk on play but we will be happy to make a note of your group. Depending on the time of year there are days the field is booked solid, so feel free to call and be sure we have plenty of rental equipment available. Also be sure to check our calendar, during the Holidays we will have extended hours and days available for play. Also check for special events like our Big Game on September 24th and our Halloween Game on October 29th. Those dates are available for walk on but the format will be much different than a normal day.
Can we combine coupons to form a group?
Absolutely. You can get your friends to purchase the coupon deal and pick a date and time you would like to play as a group. To convert from walk ons to a private session is $50 - $100 per group depending on how many players you have. If you decide to make this a private session we will need you to call and make a reservation.
Does it hurt?
One description we have heard describing what a paintball hit feels like is that it is likened to being stung by a rubber band, stings for a second but goes away real fast. Now don't get us wrong, most hits won't bother you at all, some may sting a bit but we promise, there aren't an army of rubber band snappers out there waiting to ambush you. The adrenaline rush and excitement of playing will overshadow any "sting". Also feel free to layer up till your comfortable with your level of protection. Hats, gloves, long sleeves, long pants, comfortable shoes, all help with your paintball experience. We limit all paintball guns at our facility to 280 fps and semi mode only.
Do we have to play with other people?
Our customers are purchasing a coupon for walk on play. Every day at the field is a mix of new players, experienced players, old and young players, etc. etc. We want you to have a fun experience so our trained referees will help sort the group into fair and equitable teams. That is our job here at the field and one we are well used to dealing with. If you still feel uncomfortable with playing with people you don't know, get your friends together and combine and form a private session. Do what works for you and your group. You are welcome to convert to a private session but be sure to call for a reservation.
